We are excited to announce that Maia Fiorelli, a Classics PhD student, has been awarded a Canada Graduate Scholarship by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
Maia’s research focuses on how women and feminized men from Greek tragedy and Latin elegy are sexualized and objectified. She is examining how the influence of gender and its representation play a large part in both the literature and society of Greece and Rome.
Congratulations, Maia!
